Do you ever practice dancing at your place in a mirror and if so, why?
Yes, if I practise new moves then it's good to have a mirror. Somtimes it just looks weird although you think that it looks good and a mirror is (beside videos) the only way to see yourself dancing as others do...
Yes, definitely. It helps with my confidence issues. I feel stupid when I'm practicing and I can't see myself. When I see myself, I can point out the things I like and also, if I do something new-ish, I can replicate it better if I've had a visual.
I f I am learning new moves, I start off by not using the mirrors. Then once I think I have got the right rhythm, then I dance in the mirror, so can re-work anything I think that needs improving on, eg, posture, angles, fluidity.
Dancing in the mirror at the start of learning/creating moves/choreography actually erodes my confidence as I am always second guessing myself.
Very often. Because I want to see how I'm dancing and does it look good or not.
i love dancing in the mirror because you can see your own moves from another view.
i say it to everyone whom wants to learn, it's the best
